Welcome Deputy Busby

The Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office wishes to congratulate Harley Busby on his graduation from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Training Academy.  The graduation ceremony was held Tuesday, September  17, 2019, at Lakeside Baptist Church.

The academy  began on June 10, 2019, and delivered training that is especially designed for sheriff’s office duties.  Not only did the deputies receive the basic police academy training, they also received certification in corrections, process server training and training on mental commitments.  Before becoming a deputy, Harley Busby began his career by first working  at the Choctaw County Jail.

The Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office looks forward to working with these deputies.  We know they will be great assets to our office.
