Saturday Night Safety Check Points

On Saturday night, September 7, 2019, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office held several random safety check points.  Some of the check point locations included Highway 10 at the Alabama and Mississippi line, County Road 1, County Road 7, County Road 9, County Road 32, and Commerce Street in Lisman.  The sheriffs office made one arrest for Possession of Marijuana, one arrest for Carrying a Concealed Weapon without a Permit, one arrest for an Open Container, executed two outstanding warrants, and issued two citations.  Sheriff Scott Lolley would like to thank the Butler Police Department for providing an officer to assist with this detail.
