Search Warrant

On Tuesday, September 9, 2019, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office executed a search warrant on 1241 Yantley Road in Yantley, Alabama.  During the execution, deputies recovered one bag of marijuana, three shotguns, five rifles, and one pistol.  The resident of the home, Howard Edwards Jr., was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 1st degree and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Pistol.  Edwards was transported to the Clarke County Jail where he bonded out.  Aside from state charges, this case will be referred to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for their consideration in the matter.
