Shannon Pearson Arrested in Connection to Murder and Conspiracy to Murder of Parents

Shannon Xavier Pearson has been charged and arrested in connection with the murder of his father, Reverend Tim Pearson and the attempted murder of his mother, Melony Pearson.

 

On Friday, January 8, 2021 at approximately 12:01 A.M., Choctaw County 911 received a report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, deputies found Reverend Tim Pearson deceased and his wife, Melony Pearson, in serious condition.

 

On Friday, January 8, 2021 at approximately 8:00 P.M., Melissa Breauna Hill turned herself into the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office where she was charged with Murder and Attempted Murder.  Due to the Choctaw County Jail being closed, Hill was transported to the Clarke County Jail where she was booked in on a $1,050,000 cash only bond.

 

On Tuesday, March 2, 2021, warrants were obtained for Shannon Xavier Pearson for Murder and Conspiracy to Murder.

 

On Monday, March 8, 2021 at 5:00 P.M., the United States Marshall Service arrested Pearson in Plano, Texas.  Pearson will be transported to the jail in Plano, Texas where he will eventually be extradited back to Alabama to the Clarke County Jail to answer for his Choctaw County charges.

 

Pearson has a bond of $1,050,000 cash only.
