Garbage Pick-Up Totals for January 1 through March 31, 2018

From January 1 through March 31, 2018, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office garbage-up program has recovered 13,520 pounds of garbage and 17,800 pounds of tires from Choctaw County roadways. Dicey Road Arrests

Moonshine Discovered on Call

  On Sunday, February 25, 2018, deputies received a complaint from a resident of Scott Mountain.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the suspect had left the residence.  During the investigation, deputies discovered three quarts of moonshine.  Deputies later found the suspect, Jerry Hearn, driving on Mt.
