Recovered Stolen Property

On October 31, 2017, the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft at a home in Yantley, Alabama.  The owner was able to provide deputies with a complete list of the items stolen.  The owner had took the time to place a unique mark on most of the tools, and told authorities about the mark.  This made identification easy for the deputies.

About two weeks ago, the sheriff’s office received information from a confidential informant on the location of the property.  During the course of the investigation, deputies recovered the property on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

This investigation is still ongoing, but the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office expects to make three arrests in this case.
