911 call leads to drug case

On Thursday, February 21, 2019, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office received a 911 call from a complaint.  After talking with the complainants, deputies responded to a home on County Road 6 in Silas, Alabama where they arrested Gaston Hall Reed.  Deputies performed a search where they recovered 26.3 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 48  syringes, scales, a pipe, and several small plastic bags.  Reed has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Reckless Endangerment, and Domestic Violence 3rd degree.  Reed was transported to the Choctaw County Jail where he remains at present time.
