Random Search of Jail

On Tuesday, January 30, 2018, the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office conducted a random search of the Choctaw County Jail.  During the search, deputies and correctional officers found a cell phone hidden within a cavity of the building.  An investigation will be conducted to determine the owner of the phone.  Inmates that are caught with prohibited items will be charged with Promoting Prison Contraband.  Anyone that brings prohibited items to inmates will also be charged with Promoting Prison Contraband.
