Announcement for jailer position

The Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office has an opening for the position of jailer.    All applications should be completely filled out along with a resume attached.  A class B CDL with a passenger endorsement is required.  Applicants that are considered for hiring must undergo a background check along with a pre employment drug screening.  Applicants must be clear of any felony convictions.  Certain misdemeanor convictions or combination of misdemeanor convictions may also disqualify an applicant.  Use the application link included below for submission.  Mail applications to Choctaw County Sheriffs Office, 117 South Mulberry Avenue, Suite 11, Butler, Alabama 36904.  No part time positions are available.
