Search Warrant /Drugs

On Thursday, February 8, 2024, a search warrant was executed at 88 Cedar Street in Silas, Alabama.  The following items were confiscated:  Trafficking weight Methamphetamine, Suboxone, Marijuana, and a synthetic substance.  Also confiscated was one rifle and one pistol.  Two subjects were arrested.  The US Attorney’s Office will be consulted on possible federal charges in this case.  More arrests could be […]

Arrest in Silas Vehicle Thefts

On Sunday, December 3, 2023, a truck was stolen at Kirklands store in Silas.  Then on Saturday, December 16, 2023, a car was stolen at Goco’s in Silas.
